Activities of all sorts are close by. There is a swimming pool, horseback riding, golf, and the “sentieri” on which you can hike all over the vineyard-covered hills. Franco and Claudia can provide directions and maps. If there is any activity in particular that you would like to explore while you are at La Terrazza, they would be happy to help you with that as well.
Activities for Foodies
The Piedmonte region is one of the best places in the world when it comes to gastronomy. It is home to the best porcini in Italy – Franco is expert at finding the localities for them, and will be happy to accompany you! The porcini start early September, but morels can be found much earlier and in the spring, and grow within five minutes of La Terrazza! If you love mushrooms but don’t want to pick them yourself, check out a local market or the annual White Truffle Festival in Alba. If food centered activities appeal to you, have a chat with Franco, who can suggest a myriad of options for any palate.
