If you love good food, great wines, and beautiful countryside, you will love La Terrazza del Roero.

Nestled in the heart of Piedmonte’s wine country, La Terrazza offers spacious and luxurious living in the centre of a foodie’s dreamland.

With its many restaurants, cafes and markets, the surrounding Roero region offers endless opportunities to explore the wealth and range of Piedmontaise cuisine.

The international Slow Food movement was born in nearby Bra, and in neighbouring Polenza a former royal palace is the home of the Institute of Gastronomic Sciences (aka Slow Food University).

The excellence of Piedmonte’s food is featured in a series of festivals, including the Alba Truffle Festival, the biennial Cheese Festival in Bra and Slow Food Fair in Torino.

La Terrazza is an ideal home base for your explorations; its large rooms are beautifully furnished with antique and contemporary furniture, with no detail overlooked to make your stay comfortable.

When you feel like cooking “at home”, there’s a fully-equipped modern kitchen, complete with dishwasher. Or, if you fancy pizza, there’s a wood burning pizza oven on the large back patio, with plenty of dry wood and detailed instructions on how to make your own fantastic pizza and bread.

If you feel like an after-dinner walk – or a day’s hiking, for a change of pace – the surrounding vineyards are laced with miles of well-groomed trails.

Our local agent, swimming, golf and visits to wineries and cheese-making demonstrations.

And the countryside is beautiful – from the alps on the northern skyline to the gentle hills covered with tidy vineyards, to the castles and mellow architecture of its towns and farms, the Roero is a joy to behold.
